Centroflora is synonymous to quality and competitiveness in its products and services market segment. Founded in 1957, in the city of São Paulo, it had the experience of extraction techniques brought from Europe by its founder, who innovated in the production of phytotherapic extracts for the Brazilian market.
It was the first to develop dry extracts from medicinal plants (drying by atomization) for the drug industry, which until then had only used liquid and soft extracts converted into pills after complex technological processing. The discovery at the time was a huge innovation in the drug industry, enabling Centroflora to grow and consolidate its position as the leading company in the production of plant extracts in Latin America.
In June 2001, it transferred its extraction plant to the city of Botucatu, located 230 km from the city of São Paulo, expanding its production capacity (it is equipped to process 600 tons per month of dehydrated plants), and enabling the development of experimental farming projects in its own property.
Today, Centroflora obeys the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), holds the Kosher certificate, and is certified by the Biodynamic Institute, accredited by the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements-IFOAM, to process 100% organic extracts.
Committed with the increasingly better quality of life, Centroflora has invested in activities linked to human rights, the environment, promoting cultivation with organic techniques through the "Partnership For a Better World" program, company-community partnerships, solidary work, and socio-environmental projects aimed at strengthening the community and human growth.
