Located in the city of Parnaíba in the state of Piauí, Vegeflora is a pharma-chemical manufacturer of drug industry inputs, producing pilocarpine salts, active ingredients used mainly in drug formulas prescribed in the treatment of patients with glaucoma, extracted from the leaves of the Pilocarpus microphyllus Stapf (jaborandi) plant.

Vegeflora is a company of the Centroflora Group and follows the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and is regularly inspected by the FDA, which authorizes the production and sale of pilocarpine salts (Pilocarpine chloride and nitrate) for human consumption.

All raw materials processed in Vegeflora originate from sustainable farming.
