Floravida Institute

The Floravida Institute was created in 2002 by the Centroflora Group with the mission of contributing to the social and environmental transformation in the communities involved by promoting education in defense of life. It is a non-profit organization based in the City of Botucatu, in the mid-west of the State of São Paulo, also active in the City of Parnaíba, in Piauí, one of Brazil's poorest states.

Based on three major pillars  conservation of biodiversity, environmental education, and social inclusion  Floravida has implemented various projects. Due to important partnerships with the first, second, and third sectors of society, Floravida has contributed to the sustainability of the regions in which it operates and has encouraged volunteer labor.
